Terms of Rentals
Once a rental order is placed, the equipment is removed from available inventory and reserved for the
customer. For this reason, rental payments are generally non-refundable after booking, whether the
rental is for a mobility scooter, wheelchair, power wheelchair, hospital bed, lift chair, oxygen equipment,
or other rental item.
2. Cancellation Within 24 Hours of Booking
Customers may cancel within 24 hours of placing the order and receive a full refund, provided the rental
equipment has not already been delivered, dispatched, prepared for delivery, or specially arranged.
After the 24-hour cancellation window has passed, the order becomes non-refundable.
3. Cancellation Before Delivery
If a customer cancels after the first 24 hours but before delivery, Boston Mobility Rentals may, at its
discretion, issue a partial refund or store credit. A cancellation fee of up to 25% of the rental total may
apply to cover reservation handling, scheduling, dispatch preparation, and lost availability.
4. No Refunds After Delivery or Pickup
Once the rental equipment has been delivered, picked up, accepted by the customer, or made available
at the scheduled location, the rental is considered active. No refunds will be issued for:
Early returns
Unused rental days
Customer schedule changes
Travel cancellations
Hotel changes
Event cancellations
Change of mind
Failure to use the equipment
Incorrect rental dates provided by the customer
5. Early Returns
Returning equipment before the scheduled rental end date does not qualify for a refund, credit, or
partial adjustment. Rental pricing is based on the reserved rental period, not actual usage.
6. Missed Delivery, Incorrect Address, or Customer Unavailability
If delivery cannot be completed because the customer provided an incorrect address, incomplete hotel
information, wrong phone number, inaccessible location, or was unavailable at the scheduled delivery
time, the rental remains non-refundable.
Additional delivery, redelivery, waiting, or after-hours fees may apply.
7. Rescheduling Policy
Customers may request one reschedule when notice is provided at least 48 hours before the scheduled
delivery time. Rescheduling is subject to inventory availability, delivery availability, and location.
